Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
BeTest Academy does not use advertising or analytics cookies. This page explains exactly what browser storage the platform does use, and why.
1. Local storage (not a cookie, same idea)
Your learning progress — XP, streak, completed tests, badges, settings — is saved using your browser's local storage, so the platform remembers where you left off. This is strictly necessary for the platform to function and stays on your device; we never receive it unless you create an account and sign in.
2. Sign-in storage (only if you create an account)
If you create an account, Firebase Authentication (a Google service) uses browser storage to keep you signed in between visits. This is only set if you actively choose to sign up or log in — guests browsing without an account never trigger it.
3. Google Fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts' servers. This request doesn't set a cookie, but it does share your IP address with Google as part of fetching the font files.
4. What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics platforms (like Google Analytics), and no cross-site tracking of any kind — today. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
5. Managing storage
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser's settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings"). Doing so will reset your local progress if you don't have an account, so export your progress first from your profile if you'd like to keep it.
