Interactive Dashboards and Public Geospatial Tools
A geospatial dashboard is a web application that combines a live or frequently refreshed data feed with maps, charts, and numeric indicators, or gauges, on a single screen to support real-time situational awareness rather than static, after-the-fact reporting. Esri released Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS in 2016 as a purpose-built tool for this kind of live monitoring, and it has since evolved into the current ArcGIS Dashboards product, widely used by emergency managers, utilities, and public health agencies to track operational data as it changes.
